Senica is originally from SoCal and her passion for working in the field of occupational therapy started when she was a caregiver for her aunt who suffered from arthritis. She saw how occupational therapy had helped her aunt return to doing the occupations she loved most such as cooking, knitting, and doing puzzles. She decided to pursue her studies in Kinesiology at Cal Poly Pomona and dedicated her time to volunteer at different rehab therapy clinics. Senica then studied at Loma Linda University and obtained her Master of Occupational Therapy; there she thoroughly enjoyed her time at her clinical rotation where she worked with orthopedic and neurological conditions. She is passionate about helping others heal from their acute or chronic injuries and getting them back to do the occupations that they love doing. In her free time, she enjoys doing heated yoga and pilates. She also loves spending quality time with her family, friends, and her furry goldendoodle named Melo.
