Conciana, is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, and is of Haitian descent. She became interested in the field of occupational therapy in college, when her sister gave her a brochure about OT. With the understanding that occupational therapists help bring their patients to their highest level of function, with meaningful activities and exercises, Conciana decided to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a concentration in Occupation and Wellness, at the illustrious Florida A&M University. She then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at the distinguished Loma Linda University. Conciana accredits all her success to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. During her Field Work rotation, Conciana gained an interest in neuro rehabilitation and hand therapy. Conciana has had experience working as a pediatric occupational therapist for 3 year. She also completed a Neuro Specialist certification with The Neurospecialist Institute in Pamona, California, with Dr. Michael Ang. Conciana wants to gain more knowledge and training in the areas of neuro rehabilitation and hand therapy to give her patients the best version of herself as an occupational therapist. In her free time, Conciana enjoys listening to podcasts, reading books, drawing/painting, watching throwback shows/ movies, workingout, or working on a D.I.Y. project
